BELS January 2021 Update

British-educated life scientists at home and abroad share a heritage of great achievement which continues demonstrably and collaboratively amid the COVID pandemic.

Since founding BELS 20 years ago, we’ve operated under the premise that only good things can come from strengthening connections between British-educated life scientists and the UK health and life sciences.

With this in mind, we’ve delivered BELS Brief Clips (BBC) since 2016—the only solely UK-focused curated coverage of diverse developments across the whole of the UK health and life sciences. Our own BBC has been made available to members of the BELS community and a broader international audience.

You can join BELS and subscribe to BELS Brief Clips here

In 2021, we intend to launch BELS Brief Chats, the BELS podcast and YouTube channel. So far, we’ve got five interviews with Leading Lights from the BELS community “in the can” and are planning further Chats with leaders from organizations in the UK.  We’re also planning some panel discussions involving members of the BELS community and leaders from the UK life sciences.  And we’re working toward holding in-person events when travel and funding permit.  Sponsorships are welcome. Please do get in touch if you’re interested.
